Assistance to migrants and refugees not only in the Czech Republic
Caritas provides assistance to foreigners who for various reasons find themselves in need or in a situation they themselves cannot solve. The most common problems include issues such as residence, housing, social security, health care, employment or educational opportunities.
Since 1992, services which provide assistance to migrants and refugees in distress have played a major part in the Czech Caritas network. Caritas places an emphasis on activities that will assist the integration of migrants and refugees into Czech society.
Counseling
The provision of free professional social services and legal advice is essential. These services are provided through outpatient and outreach forms based on the principles of civic advice; they are free, independent, impartial and confidential.

Migration counselling centers in cities of the Czech Republic include Brno, Blansko, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Litoměřice, Plzeň and Praha.
