For example, support may be provided for humanitarian aid during catastrophes and natural disasters in the Czech Republic, for support of people in seniors residences, people with disabilities, mothers with children in need, social welfare families, people suffering from incurable diseases or chemical dependency, and people in prison. Simply choose one of the following variable symbols (VS):
- VS 901 – Aid to seniors (residences, nursing homes, home health care, assistance, etc.)
- VS 902 – Aid to homeless (shelters, social programs)
- VS 904 – Aid to persons incarcerated and recently released from incarceration
- VS 905 – Residences for mothers in need (residences, prevention centres, etc.)
- VS 906 – Aid to people affected by natural disasters (floods, storms)
- VS 907 – Aid to disadvantaged youth and children
- VS 908 – Aid to people suffering from medical disabilities (residences, protected housing, workshops, nursing homes, assistance, etc.)
- VS 909 – Aid to the gravely ill (hospice, home hospice services)
- VS 910 – Caritas counseling centers
- VS 911 – Aid for leisure activities for children and youth and support of families
- VS 913 – Aid for development of cultural activities for disabled citizens (art therapy, music therapy, painting, ceramics, theatre)
- VS 914 – Aid for chemical dependence (contact and low-threshold centres, field services)
- VS 915 – Aid to socially disenfranchised groups (social groups and nationalities) in the Czech Republic
- VS 916 – Aid to families in crisis
- VS 917 – Assistance to foreigner/migrants in the Czech Republic, who find themselves in need
- VS 918 – Military Solidarity Fund

DMS
You can also support our collection efforts year round by sending a one-time or yearlong donation SMS in the following format:

Each DMS costs CZK 30, of which Caritas Czech Republic receives CZK 28.50. In the event that you opt for a year of DMS, this will amount to 12 x CZK 28.50, whereas payments will be regularly carried out, always once each 30 days after the sending the first donation SMS. To cancel a yearlong DMS, simply send a new SMS in the format: DMS STOP ROK CHARITAPOMOC or DMS STOP ALL to the phone number 87 777. Deactivation of the service is free of charge.
